Okalawon Celebrates 50th Birthday in Grand Style

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Osun State on Information and Strategy, Mr Semiu Okanlawon at the weekend marked his 5th birthday in grand style. 


The birthday reception which took place at River Side Resort, Iwo on Sunday was attended by dignitaries including Governor Rauf Aregbesola and his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola. 

The celebrant who was flanked by his pretty wife, Ronke dressed elegantly in his adoring complete native attire and the setting at the venue of the reception was superb and befitting.   

Other dignitaries on the occasion include the National Coordinator of the Oodua People’s Congress and Aare Onakakanfo Designate, Chief Gani Adams, former Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Ismail Adewusi and the Media Adviser to the Governor, Mr Sola Fasure. 

Also, members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in the state thronged Iwo to celebrate with Okanlawon who had served as the Director of the Bureau of Communication and Strategy in the office of the governor for over six years before he was moved to the Ministry of Information as SA recently.
