29-year-old boy rapes 85-year-old woman in Osun

The Osun State Police Command has paraded a 29-year-old boy, Kehinde Ariyo who raped an 85-year-old woman in Ileas, Osun State.


The Commissioner of in the state, Mr Fimihan Adeoye who paraded the suspect said that Ariyo raped the aged woman until she passed out. The CP said the woman was later resuscitated at a hospital.

The CP added that that the old wonam sustained serious injury when she was being raped by Ariyo and that she is responding to treatment in the hospital. CP Adeoye assured that the suspect would be prosecuted after necessary investigation.

In a chat with Daily Trust correspondent, Ariyo said he was coming from a night party and that he needed a place to sleep till the following morning. Ariyo added that he pleaded with the woman to allow him stay in her house till the morning and that the woman oblige him.


According to Ariyo, "In the night, I went to the room where the woman slept and told her that I needed to tell her something. I told her to open her door and she did. I cannot remember other things. I just know that it was not more than two rounds and I know it was the work of Satan."
