Car thefts: Police embark on stop and search

The FCT Police Command says it has embarked on a stop and search operation in an effort to curtail the rising cases of car theft.

A statement by the command’s spokesman, Anjuguri Manzah, said the police would flag down vehicles on the highways and search to ensure that every vehicle owner has proof of ownership.
